Kids Jiu Jitsu ages 3 - 13
Welcome to our Kids Jiu Jitsu program. We integrate the timeless principles of Bushido - The Way of the Warrior - into our jiu jitsu training to promote character, discipline, and resilience in our young practitioners.
Through our kids program they will learn the 7 principles of the Bushido: Valor - Honor - Honesty - Loyalty - Righteousness - Respect - Benevolence - in conjunction with their Jiu Jitsu training.
All of our kid programs have the goal of building confidence , learning self control, improve Jiu Jitsu techniques, and increasing coordination and focus.
In addition to the principles of Bushido, our curriculum includes self-defense, anti-bullying training, Jiu Jitsu techniques, and physical fitness.
We are a traditional academy that has continued with the tradition of the Bushido... the way of the warrior.
There are 3 age groups for kids.

Tiny Samurai - Ages 3 to 4
Our Tiny Samurai's Jiu Jitsu class is specially designed for energetic 3 to 4-year-olds to introduce them to the exciting world of Jiu Jitsu in a fun and safe environment. Our class meets once a week for 30 minutes and focuses on age-appropriate activities to develop physical skills, social interaction, and basic Jiu Jitsu principles.
Our Tiny Samurai class is designed to not just be about learning Jiu Jitsu; it's about fostering confidence, discipline, and a love for physical activity in our youngest students and get them ready for the older kids class.
Jr. Samurai ages 4 to 8
This Jr. Samurai class is specifically geared towards kids ages 4 to 9 years old.
This class provides a balanced approach to a child's Jiu Jitsu development by combining physical fitness with mental resilience and social skills. Through structured instruction, interactive activities, and positive reinforcement, students not only learn the art of Jiu Jitsu but also cultivate confidence, self-discipline, and respect for themselves and others.
We offer 4 classes a week our Jr. Samurai's.
Samurai - ages 9 -13
Samurai's class is designed for our older kids ages 9 - 12. Our older kids continue to learn more about the Way of the Warrior through the principles of The Bushido. They will gain a greater knowledge of basic Jiu Jitsu as well as learn more advanced techniques. We will continue to reinforce the strong core values of Darcio Lira Jiu Jitsu.
Our elite Samurai's will also have the opportunity to become "Keepers of Bushido", our Jr. Instructor program where they will have the opportunity to assist in the Tiny Samurai or Jr. Samurai classes.
